Carter Is A Storyteller
Hello! I'm currently an Editing Fellow at the American Film Institute, and I work as a freelance editor and assistant editor. My passion lies in the art of film editing, where I get to shape stories and bring them to life.
In addition to editing, I excel in crafting immersive soundscapes and enhancing visual storytelling through VFX. My love for anime, movies, and music keeps me inspired and creative in my work.
I had the opportunity to intern at MIGU Animation in 2019, where I gained valuable industry experience. I also briefly worked with the Department of Theatre at Michigan State University and the Wharton Center of Performing Art in 2021.
Throughout the summer of 2023, I've been freelancing on various post-production projects, further honing my skills and expanding my portfolio. I believe that every frame, every cut, and every sound can convey a unique story, and I'm excited to continue my journey in the world of editing.
